The impact of Resin on Ink(Ⅰ)
Resin is the core material of ink, so the quality of resin will directly affect the performance of the ink. So what impact does resin have on ink?
1. Adhesion
Different adhesion between the ink and the substrate are generated by the applied force between the resin connecting material and the substrate. For different substrates, the key lies in the selection of suitable resin connecting material.
2. Coloring power
Organic pigment is the most basic material to provide color to the ink, attaching to the surface of the substrate to show the color to the consumer. However, the color often deviates from the color of the pigment itself. This is due to the resin used in the ink. The display of color is the light incident to the surface of the wrapped pigment through the film layer of the resin connecting material, then reflected to reach the eyes of the consumers.
Therefore, the transparency and color of the resin will directly affect the color expression of different pigments.
