Acrylic Varnish Paint
In the anti-corrosion paint, there is a paint that dries faster than alkyd varnish, and is resistant to yellowing and pulverization for outdoor use, which is acrylic varnish. Acrylic varnish is a one-component coating cured at room temperature crosslinking, which is made of methacrylate and methacrylic acid copolymerized resin, toughening agent dissolved in ester, alcohol, benzene mixed solvent.
It has no color and is transparent; The thickness of the primary film is high, and the paint film is bright and plump; Chemical resistance, solvent resistance, abrasion resistance; High hardness, resistance to abrasion and scratches; Good weather resistance and strong adhesion. It is suitable for overshadow coating of automotive topcoats, agricultural vehicles, motorcycles, bicycles and plastic surfaces, and can also be directly applied to steel, aluminum alloy and FRP surfaces.
Before formal construction, the surface treatment of the coated object should be carried out. The surface of the steel should remove rust, oxide scale, oil stains, etc., and carry out sandblasting or shot blasting treatment, the rust removal grade reaches the Swedish rust removal Sa2.5 standard, and the surface roughness reaches 30-70μm. Paint coating should be carried out within 4 hours after the completion of surface treatment to prevent oxidation and rust on the metal surface again.
Acrylic varnish can be sprayed, brushed and other processes, and reasonably selected according to the shape and size of the work piece and the object to be coated. The thickness of the paint film is better at 70-80μm, and it should not be too thin or too thick. After the paint film dries, the next paint is coated.
Spraying: Use airless spraying or airborne spraying.
Brush coating: Recommended for pre-coating and small area coating, taking care to achieve a specific dry film thickness.
