Alkyd Paint
Alkyd paint is mainly composed of alkyd resin, which is currently the largest type of paint produced in China. 1. Solvent-based alkyd paint
Traditional alkyd resin coatings are solvent-based containing a large amount of solvent (mass ratio greater than 40%), the main components: alkyd resin, No. 200 solvent gasoline, drying agent (containing cobalt manganese, lead, zinc and calcium, or cobalt manganese rare earth), anti-crusting agent. Pigments also contain pigments, etc. During the production and construction process, it will seriously endanger the environment and the health of operators. In recent years, environmental protection regulations around the world have become increasingly strict, and traditional solventborne coatings have been increasingly challenged. The trend towards water-based and highly solidified coatings is becoming clearer.
2 Water-soluble alkyd paint
Water-soluble coating is the introduction of hydrophilic or water-soluble groups in the film-forming polymer, making it a coating that can use water as a dissolved medium, which is a new type of low-pollution, energy-saving and resource-saving coating developed in the 60s of the 20th century. Due to its obvious advantages, the research and application of water solubility of coatings has attracted widespread attention and made important progress. Water-soluble alkyd resin coatings are a new development trend and have received a lot of research and development.
