Heavy-duty coating Ⅰ
Heavy-duty coating refers to a type of anti-corrosion coating that can be used in relatively harsh corrosive environments compared to conventional anti-corrosion coatings, and has a longer protection period than conventional anti-corrosion coatings.
Feature:
① Heavy-duty coating can be used under harsh conditions and it has a long anti-corrosion life. Heavy-duty coating can generally be used for more than 10 or 15 years in chemical atmospheres or marine environments, even in acid, alkali, salt and solvent medium, and under a certain temperature condition, it still can be used for more than 5 years.
②Thick film is an important sign of heavy-duty coating. The dry film thickness of conventional anti-corrosion coatings is about 100 μm or 150 μm, while the dry film thickness of heavy-duty coating is more than 200 μm or 300 μm, and also ranges from 500 μm to 1000 μm, or even as high as 2000 μm.
